Azmodan

Azmodan has been playing Aardwolf since January 1998. Since then he has played many characters, who have now all been deleted. During that time period, Azmodan has also taken many leaves of absences from the game, never playing for more than a few months at a time. He has always been around however...lurking in the shadows...forever watching...waiting for his time...

Description

An ominous figure rises before you. Tall and still, he makes not a sound. Surrounded by an air of animosity he stares deeply into your eyes, seemingly as if to view the very depths of your soul and all of the sin you have ever committed.

Daryth the Lone Ranger

His first creation was Daryth, an Elf Ranger. He quickly leveled him up to level 65 where he found that levelling was starting to get very slow and difficult. It was at this time, he was introduced to how helpful AardEQ was to levelling, and he decided he would halt all levelling progress, and stay at level 65, till he had some good AardEQ. At this time, the supernewbie phenomenon was starting to become popular, and as Daryth was starting to realize that questing at level 1 would be a lot easier than questing at level 65. He decided to place Daryth on the shelf, and jump on the bandwagon.

Quasar the Protector of the Universe

And so Quasar, the Human Cleric, was born. He stayed at level 1 for at least a month, questing for AardEQ, competing in global quests and winning some wars. Eventually, after getting a couple of pieces of AardEQ (2 rings of regen, Wings, Amulet, Aura), he decided he would level slowly, and still quest along the way (leveling once every 150qp or so). That way he was able to add Aardweapons at levels 20, 50 and 80, and a full suit of the rest of the Aard pieces at 100 (breastplate, helm, boots, etc). All during this time, if he ever got bored, Daryth would get some playing time in, and eventually he also was able to acquire his full set of AardEQ, and level himself up to 100. Quasar also applied and was accepted into the Order of the Light.

Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

As much fun as it was to play Quasar and Daryth, he longed for the days of when he was a supernewbie. Hence Leonardo, the Dwarf Warrior was created. Leonardo's path followed very closely to Quasar's. Staying at level 1 to get the same pieces of AardEQ, and slowly levelling up and questing, just as Quasar had done. But at this time, there were other very powerful Dwarven Warriors who were all staying within the same level ranger (Snek, Eldir, Pierre, etc). Together these mighty dwarves won many wars, and Leonardo actually had 100+ wins at one point. But again as level 100 approached, he longed again for the lower levels, and the cycle continued.

The League of Supernewbies

Here is a list of all the alts that were played by Azmodan. All of them followed the same path of Quasar. All getting at least 20k qp each, war wins, global quest wins, etc.

The Downfall of the League

It was very hard for Azmodan to keep up playing so many characters, that eventually a period of more than six months had passed by since Daryth had been logged in, and he was deleted! It was a very depressing day for Azmodan. He could have parted, probably with any of his characters, except for his beloved Daryth. His first. Crushed, Azmodan walked away from Aardwolf, seemingly forever. And one by one, as time passed by, each of the other characters were slowly deleted...until there were none left.

Azmodan the Lord of Sin

On November 22, 2002, a little more than a year after Daryth was deleted. Azmodan was created. A Dark elf Cleric; this time with renewed focus to play only one character. Since then he has reached superhero, and remorted three times. He still quests like a madman, and recently reached the 100k quest point milestone. He still only plays sporadically, due to a very busy RL and of course, other games that he plays, as well as other recreational activities. But Aardwolf will always carry a special place in his heart, for it has touched him for over a decade. He was there at its very early history...and he will be there at its end.
