Portals

Portals consist of two categories.

First, there's the holdable item that leads to the beginning of an area (with the exception of the Chaos Portal and Amulet of Aardwolf). These items are usually given to a person upon completion of an AQ, or found somewhere in the area to which they they lead.

To use these portals simply hold them and type <enter>.

The second type of portal is an immoveable object that sits in some rooms in the MUD. There are plenty of these lying around in areas, and to use them you simply type <enter (portal keyword)> and are sent to another room in the same area.
